Cut comb sections harvested late — how do you keep them from crystallising before they sell?

Jalisco, ten years, and cut comb is my best margin at market — people pay double per kilo for it. This year I pulled my last comb frames late, off the end of the rainy-season flow, and I've got about forty sections cut and boxed. In previous years the late comb has started to grain in the box by late November, and a cut comb with crystals in it is a hard sell. What I'm doing now: sections in clamshells, stacked in a cool dark cupboard, sold first-come. What I'm considering: freezing the lot. I've read freezing stops crystallisation and kills any wax moth eggs, but I've also read the comb weeps and looks terrible after thawing. What's the actual technique — wrap, freeze, thaw sealed? Does the comb survive? And is it just the floral source that decides how fast comb sets, or is there anything in handling that makes it worse?
