Beekeeping Community ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This page summarises what we collect, why, and how to delete it. This is a starter document — replace with a lawyer-reviewed version before listing on the App Store.

What we collect

• Account: email address, display name, optional region/bio.
• Content you create: forum posts, journal entries, inspections, tasks, hive metadata.
• Location: coarse country & the centre of your apiary, only when you grant permission. Never shared publicly.
• Diagnostics: crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) and anonymous product analytics (Firebase Analytics).

What we don't collect

• We never sell personal data.
• We don't use third-party advertising trackers.
• We don't read your photos unless you explicitly attach them to an entry.

Third parties

We rely on Firebase (Google) for authentication, database, file storage, crash reporting, and push notifications. We use RevenueCat for managing subscriptions, and Apple WeatherKit for forecasts.

Deleting your data

Open the app → Settings → Delete account. This removes your profile, posts, journey entries, hives, map pins, saved items, and subscription mirror. Messages stay visible to the other party but show your name as "Deleted user". This is irreversible.
