Heather honey extraction — pressing or scraping?

First year doing serious heather. The thixotropic honey is unreal — won't spin out of frames at all. What are people actually doing? Pricker + spin? Pressing? Selling cut comb?

Loosener + spin is the commercial answer. We use a perforator to break the jelly structure, then spin warm. Pressing gives marginal yield improvement but ruins the comb.

Cut comb gives you 3x the price per kg with zero extraction work. If your customer base will pay for it, that's the move. Heather cut comb is premium.

If you do press, use a basket press not a hydraulic. Hydraulic + heather = honey with wax suspension, takes weeks to clear.
