Virgin queen emerged June 24 — how long before I'm allowed to panic about no eggs?

İzmir, second year. My strong colony swarmed in mid-June despite my efforts (lesson logged) and I let them requeen themselves. I actually saw the new queen emerge from her cell on June 24 — genuinely the coolest thing I've seen in beekeeping so far. It's now July 12, so 18 days later, and still no eggs. I've spotted her twice, she's bigger and moves more queen-like each time, but nothing in the cells. The weather's been perfect for mating flights, hot and calm, so I can't even blame the sky. When does waiting officially become a problem? I've read a virgin needs 5-6 days to mature, then mating flights, then a few days more — but I've also read horror stories about queens that never mate properly. At what day do I give up and order a mated queen? I don't want to be the beginner who panicked at day 19 OR the one who waited until laying workers.
